 Welcome and thank you for your interest in NextStar Energy (NSE), a joint venture between LG Energy Solutions and Stellantis. NextStar Energy will be Canada's first large-scale lithium-ion battery production plant when production commences.  The facility is located on over 200-acres of land on Twin Oaks Drive near Banwell Road in Windsor, Ontario.  

The manufacturing facility is targeted to have an annual production capacity in excess of 49 gigawatt hours and will directly employ an estimated 2,500 employees.  Production operations planned to launch in the first quarter of 2024.
