2023년도 캐나다한인과학기술자협회 장학생 선발공고

 

젊은 과학기술 인재양성을 위해 캐나다한인과학장학재단(KCSSF)과 캐나다한인과학기술자협회(AKCSE)가 장학생을 선발하오니 많은 지원을 바랍니다. 장학재단 심사위원회 (위원장 박철범)의 엄정한 심사를 거쳐 선발될 학생들에게 아래의 장학금을 지급하고자 합니다.

• SK 그룹 장학금 ($3,000, 1명)
• 의료법인 고려의료재단 장학금 ($3,000, 1명)
• (재)목암과학장학재단(녹십자) ($2,000, 1명)
• CS Wind 장학금 ($2,000, 1명)
• KOGAS Canada Energy Ltd. 장학금 ($2,000, 1명)
• KEB Hana Bank Canada 장학금 ($1,000, 1명)
• 민동연 장학금 ($1,000, 1명)
• KONA 장학금 ($2,000, 1명)
• KCSSF 장학금 ($1,000, 2-3명)

 

지원자격:       캐나다 시민권자 또는 영주권자 (단, KCSSF 장학금에 한하여 한인 유학생 지원 가능)

  캐나다 내 대학의 과학, 기술, 의학 분야 풀타임 학부 3학년 이상 또는 풀타임 대학원생

신청마감:       2023년 6월 4일 (일)

구비서류:       지원서, 이력서, 자기소개서, 2인의 추천서,

성적표 (학부 전 학년, 대학원 전 학년(해당자), all former and current post-secondary institutions)

발표일자:       2023년 7월 3일 (월)

제 출 처:       지원서, 이력서, 자기소개서는 이메일로 제출 (E-mail: info@akcse.org)

                   추천서는 추천인 본인이 우편으로 보내는 것이 원칙이나 스캔후 이메일 발송도 가능.

성적표는 반드시 발행기관에 의해

1) 봉인된 우편으로 협회 사무실로 보내거나

2) 발행기관 공식 이메일을 통해 발행기관에서 협회로 직접 이메일 송부해야 함.

 INVITATION TO APPLY 2023 AWARDS

 

 

Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2023 KCSSF awards. The application form and all supporting documentation must be submitted by June 4^th, 2023 to:

1.  APPLICAT QUALIFICATION

 

a.     Must be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant (Specify on application form).

* However, KCSSF scholarships accept applications from Korean international students.

 

b. Must be enrolled full-time during 2022-2023 academic year and must have completed at least TWO (2) full academic years in a Science/Engineering/Medical or related post-secondary education institution (e.g. university, college) in Canada, and must submit a proof of registration prior to receive the scholarship, if awarded.

 

c. Previous recipients are NOT eligible.

 

 

2.  APPLICATION DOUCUMENTS

 

a. AKCSE official application form must be used (download the form attached).

 

b. Resume outlining your education, work experience, extra-curricular activities and other accomplishments, including referees’ contact numbers.

c. Personal statement (maximum 2 pages).

 

Documents (a, b, c) should be EMAILED to info@akcse.org by the application due date June 4^th, 2023.

 

d. Official transcripts for the entire undergraduate and graduate (if applicable) academic years from all former and current post-secondary institutions. Each envelope must be sealed and signed by the issuing institution (Transcript in an opened envelope will not be acceptable). Or An official email must be sent to the association via the issuing school, not from the student.

 

e. Two letters of reference from people that have direct knowledge of your character, ability, attitude, potential and aspiration. References should exclude family, friends and relatives are not eligible as reference.  The letter can be scanned and email to info@akcse.org by reference, himself/herself or mail to KCSSF Office.

 

Documents (d, e) should be mail to KCSSF office.

                 

The recipients of the Scholarships will be announced on the AKCSE webpage (http://www.akcse.ca) by July 3^rd, 2023.
